Executive Creative Director
Matt Clark is co-founder of UVA and Another Space. He provides the conceptual direction for the studio’s output. Matt teaches at the Royal College of Art as a visiting lecturer. He studied both Fine Art, Sculpture and Communication Design at Camberwell College of Art.
Executive PRODUCTION Director
Chris Bird is co-founder of UVA and Another Space. He guides and mentors the project teams towards successful delivery of each project by drawing on his 25 years experience in the visual production and entertainment industries. He studied Biology at Leeds University.
Ash is co-founder of UVA and Another Space. He provides technical oversight to the studio, with a focus on software development. Ash graduated with a first class honours degree in Computer Science (BA) from Cambridge University in 1994.
Alexandros leads the design studio and works closely with Matt Clark on the conceptual development and having creative oversight on all client projects. Trained as an architect at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, after moving to London he gained a MSc in Adaptive Architecture.
Maximo is a designer and visual artist with over 15 years experience in the creative industries, having worked in various practices across Europe, US and UK, and is responsible for delivering each projects creative output. Maximo has an MA in Information Experience Design from the Royal College of Art.
Coming from a background in Architecture and installation design, Will leads the studio in solving a wide variety of spatial, physical and detail design challenges. Will has an MArch from the University of Westminster and a BA in Architecture from Sheffield University.
Jon is an architectural designer and multimedia artist with several years of experience working in practice. He supports the development of the studio’s projects designing both physical and virtual spaces. Jon graduated from the Architectural Association with the AA Diploma and has a BA Hons in Architecture from the University of Lincoln.
Lee specialises in technical system design, utilising his experience in a variety of technical and creative roles, he focuses on the integration and installation of experiential technologies. He studied Live Visual Design Production at Backstage Academy, and has an NVQ L3 in electrotechnical services.
Willem uses code to create form and behaviour. His work focuses on making digital processes manifest in the physical space. He has a BA in Interaction Design from ArtEZ University of the Arts (The Netherlands) where he won the Arnhemse Nieuwe Award.
Ellen oversees the prototyping and fabrication in our studio workshop having previously worked in product design in other practices and was a designer-in-residence at Northumbria University. Ellen has a BA in 3D Design - Furniture and Product from Northumbria University.
Alex manages new client relationships, develops projects and oversees workflow and budgets. She brings considerable experience of working in luxury and innovation for a range of clients and artists; including acting as a producer for an AR experiential company. Alex has a Prince2 certificate and a BA Hons in Fashion.
