Dazed & Calvin Klein / Dazed 100
Another Space was commissioned to create a large scale entrance installation, as well as stylised visuals in the interior party space, for the celebration of the Dazed 100, the annual guide to visionary talent and culture, fashion and media.
Our installation formed a key feature of the entrance, welcoming party guests as they arrive and providing a canvas to showcase the Dazed 100 and its sponsor Calvin Klein. Highly colourful and Instagrammable, it created a striking sense of arrival, sparking excitement, curiosity and setting the tone for the rest of the party.
Named Shadow Play, the 15m-wide projection splits animations into three overlaid colour channels. As visitors pass through the projector’s beam, their physical presence divides their interference into several colour ways. Their silhouettes become part of the installation itself, encouraging people to take centre-stage and to explore this prismatic outcome. It is a highly personalised experience offering infinite scope for participants to create and share their own visual content across social media platforms.
