Armani / Ginza Tower Opening
To celebrate the opening of Giorgio Armani’s newly built Ginza Tower store in Tokyo, a party was held at the Budokan, famed for concerts including the Beatles and Bob Dylan, and for being the home of Japanese martial arts.
The Studio was commissioned to design the interior for the launch event, entitled ‘One Night Only in Budokan’. We designed the seating, lighting and architectural layout, alongside the atmospheric graphic scenography, created using six HD projectors on a dark grey rear projection surface of over 900 square meters.
The screen content was designed to also support two fashion catwalk shows, (Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani), performances by the Yoshida Brothers, Il Divo, and Fergie, and all environmental graphics for the event.
